| Our New Website Debuts July 18th! - Tuesday, July 15, 2008After several months of planning, we are proud to debut our new and improved website. We are excited about the new design and we think it will better help our clients understand how we work, what our products are and WHO we are. New additions to the site include: an idea center, kitchen budget calculator (under construction), improved manufacturer information, designer bios, historical TKP photos, store announcements (sales and promos!!!) and more. Introductions to our install crews will be coming soon. We hope that the site will be helpful to you as you begin your kitchen remodel journey.
The Kitchen Place would like to thank Karla (Osvath) Shelton for her hard work in designing and implementing our new website. Karla is a former employee of The Kitchen Place and sister to Kelly. And, daughter to our founders, Alec and Betty Osvath. Karla is a pioneer in the internet marketing industry. However, early in her career she was actually a kitchen designer, for The Kitchen Place and again in Chicago. After teaching herself HTML, Karla started moonlighting as a webmaster for a chiropractic college in Chicago during the late eighties. With a degree in marketing, she decided to make a career change from from kitchens to the high tech world. Her first job was with USRobotics (now 3Com Corp). Since then she has done work for Mercedes-Benz and Procter & Gamble. In the last couple of years, Karla has returned to her roots....writing websites in her free time. She resides in Lafayette, IN with her family.
