Great Design is Not An Accident

Great design doesn't just happen. It's the product of our designer's years of experience, listening to our clients, knowledge of our products and attention to details and specifications.

All Designers Are Not Alike

At The Kitchen Place, each of us have double-digit years of experience. Kelly, a "second generation" designer has almost 23 years of design and sales, learning the business from her parents who started The Kitchen Place. Tom has over 23 years experience as well, including installation. Justin has 10 years experience. Either Tom, Kelly or Justin will personally evaluate every inch of your Kitchen before creating a design that is perfect for you and your family.

Services & Fees

Replacement Countertops: If your existing cabinets are in good shape, but you'd like to replace your countertops, we can help you with that. Visit our store and bring in some basic dimensions of your countertop. We can get you a price right away, or within a day or so. Keep in mind, your countertop price is not firm until a field measure or template is taken by our fabricator.

In-Home Measuring Fee: $75 within a 40 minute drive. We will waive the $75 measuring fee if you visit our showroom prior to your appointment.

Kitchen Design Fee: This optional service is available if you wish to purchase our plans and technical drawings. This fee will be applied to the cost of your cabinetry purchase. If you do not wish to purchase the plans, we will keep them in our project files for a period of 3 years. Design fees vary depending on the size of the kitchen and design time. Typical fees vary between $100 for a small kitchen up to $500 for a larger area or multiple areas. The Kitchen Place will not guarantee the fit of cabinetry and materials purchased elsewhere.

Delivery Charges: Delivery charges vary. But typically, we charge $4 per mile, one way. We will unload your materials in your garage. You may also arrange to pick up your materials at our showroom. Minimum delivery charge is $20. If you choose to use our installation services, delivery is included with installed jobs.
