When we had our new Corian countertop installed on our 13-year old cabinets, we noticed that one of our drawers was rubbing against the countertop. Tom Detty solved the issue simply and effectively because of his knowledge of cabinets and his "hands on" approach. We are thrilled. The whole experience has been very pleasant. I now have a dream kitchen thanks to my designer, Kelly. I have a very difficult space to work with -- windows and doors -- and it's rather small. I went to almost very kitchen designer in Dayton and wasn't happy with the sales people or the designs. A friend of mine told me about Kelly and her creativity. The first time I met her I was impressed with her creativity and listening skills. Rather than "selling" me, she asked questions. I let her measure my kitchen and she came back with incredible ideas. She also offered a wide range of cabinets to help me stay in budget. I ended up selecting a semi-custom cabinet, but you would never know by seeing my kitchen. The cabinets look high end custom! She also helped me pick out countertop colors and flooring. All around, I was extremely happy with the kitchen I bought from Kelly. And the installers were craftsmen -- very professional, clean and respectful. It's worth a drive from Dayton to go to The Kitchen Place.

I absolutely love my kitchen cabinets! He has most of the base cabinets up in the kitchen as well as the area above the cook top! I love it -- it looks just like the picture you gave us!

I can't wait to see the rest. He has all the cabinets out in the rooms they belong to but waiting for installation. This is so exciting!

Thank you for my new kitchen! What I had thought could be an overwhelming experience became a pleasure (fun, really) thanks to your friendly and professional staff, personal service, quality products and comfortable showroom—MUCH better than any “big box” store.
I can’t say enough about your staff. Justin’s design was exactly what I’d had in mind for five years, Kevin suggested removing an unnecessary wall (which made a huge difference) and Kelly pinpointed the perfect countertop almost immediately. Justin and Kevin are great to work with, skilled installers and care about their work. They also care about the condition in which they leave their site, i.e., neat and clean. How refreshing! When they were finished, I immediately heard praise for the quality of their work from a skilled and knowledgeable friend/observer. Just as important, I was very comfortable, and really enjoyed having them in my home.

We are extremely pleased with our KraftMaid kitchen cabinets from The Kitchen Place. Kelly was great - she was patient, knowledgeable, and skillfully examined and improved our ideas and plans, which proved to increase the quality of the finished product. Remodeling a galley kitchen has significant challenges but we now have better lighting, new floor, great cabinets with super finish, wood grains, wider and deeper drawers, pull out shelves and great handles. Other improvements are more outlets, higher ceiling, staggered level and depth of cabinets, new sink, faucets, and more open after removing a wall. We highly recommend The Kitchen Place - we shopped around for a long time and found their knowledge, price and quality were the best around Dayton. Thank you everything!
